Adv. Vishwas Pathak, M.Com, LLB, FCS

Mr. Pathak is a fellow member of the ICSI and Lawyer with experience in the industry and consulting spanning over 35 years in the field of legal, secretarial, risk management, corporate governance, finance, taxation, transaction and regulatory advisory services. He has worked as company secretary, head of legal & risk management, managing director, chief executive officer for various Global Group companies handling various legal/commercial issues for its global operations in Telecom, ITES, BPO, General Aviation etc.

He was the founder of a corporate advisory firm “Lexcorp” during 2002 – 2008 with two partners and about twenty associates consisting of chartered accountants, company secretaries and lawyers.

In his long stint in the industry and during his practice as Advocate, he has advised on several issues including setting up of businesses, M&A, regulatory advisory, representations before various government authorities and litigations before the Hon’ble Bombay High Court, CLB, SEBI, SAT, DRT etc.,

During the period 2015-2019, he was also an advisor to the Energy Minister, Government of Maharashtra and Independent Director and Audit Committee Chairman of MSEB Holding Co. Ltd, MahaGenco, MahaTransco and MahaDiscom.

Since 2010, he is running his own management consultancy company viz Zeromile Consultants Pvt Ltd. Currently, he is also practicing as Advocate in Mumbai.

He is also a prolific speaker in august forums and conferences conducted by industry/trade bodies in India and abroad and regularly appears in various debates in Hindi, Marathi and English television channels as Media Head and Spokesman of Bharatiya Janata Party, Maharashtra State. He, as a political analyst, also writes articles and opinions on various topics in newspapers viz Tarun Bharat, The Daily Guardian etc., and authored a book ‘VishwasMat’ in two volumes published by Ameya Inspiring Books, which is a collection of articles on politics and economy.
